LERUA ANYA FAVOURITE FAVOUR by CHARLES KALU (Ofenkwuire)

Favour..., you appeared and shone around, illuminating every where you set your foot on, giving life to the environment and suddenly disappearing like a comet and never to be back. Beautiful Favour... that's your life and that's how you appeared and made life so easy and easy going with your style sweeping everyone you met off their feet with your love and loving kindness. There was no dull moment with you...our dear Nnenna. Your smile radiated with so much warmth around all those around you. From your husband, to your children ,to your siblings , to your friends of all hues and colours. You made sure there were no sad moments around them because your greatest joy to you was their joy and happiness. That's your trade mark. No one could wrestle it from you. None of us could see inside of you or read your heart or mind to know about your own pains. You were human. You had your pains but you swallowed them to ensure others were happy. This... you exuded all through that evening at Chief Ukpai Agwu's impromptu birthday celebration at his house in Umuahia. I never knew that's the last I will see you dear Favour. You chatted me up insisting I relocated to Umuahia. You insisted that Umuahia and Abia State needed me and my expertise. That's you Nwanyioma Favour. Your greatest joy and daily accomplishments was the happiness of others. Your life was simply cut, chiselled and fitted by God for this ministry you chose and preached. And indeed, your life was really dedicated to this ministry and I can imagine the smile on Jesus' face saying; " Well done, my good and faithful servant". The news of your passage rocked the world just as the coming of a comet that does not announce it's entry or exit. The news spread like a wild fire within minutes of your transition. I'm sure that if it were possible several of your friends and well wishers would have arrived to ensure you lived. I expressed shock and wondered; ;"Why you" ? That's from a human, but God knows better as we say in our clime. I pray that God receives your kind hearted soul and grant you eternal peace. I also pray that God grants your husband, Chief Uma JK, and your children the fortitude to bear your painful passage. Also, I pray that God comforts and consoles your siblings; Chief Acho, Hon Mba, Pastor Obinna, Sculptor Chikezie, Ngozi and Chioma as well as hundreds of your relations and friends. May the peace that Jesus brings surround your journey beyond these shores....Amen! Lerua anya favourite Favour
